The mistake a lot of people make is assuming “mini loader” means one machine that does everything. In reality, the size of the loader you need depends entirely on where you’re working and what you’re moving — which is why we run two different Kanga models.

Knowing which of the two to book comes down to one simple question: is access your biggest constraint, or is power and productivity? If it’s access — Kanga Kid. If it’s about getting through more work with more capacity — the 1000mm Kanga.

The Kanga Kid is our narrowest mini loader at just 800mm wide, and it exists for one reason: access. If you’re working on a site with a tight side gate, a narrow walkway between houses, or a courtyard that a standard skid steer or even a regular mini loader can’t squeeze through, the Kanga Kid is built exactly for that.

Step up to the 1000mm Kanga and you’re getting a noticeably more powerful machine, still compact enough to handle most residential access, but with the extra grunt to get through heavier jobs faster. If your site doesn’t have the same pinch points as a Kanga Kid job, but you’ve still got a decent amount of material to move or ground to prepare, the 1000mm model will get through the work in a fraction of the time.

• More lifting and pushing capacity than the Kanga Kid
• Suited to bigger excavation support work and larger areas
